AFRICAN DRUMMING COURSE

5-week series course (2 hours per session) for in depth study of djembe technique (and related instruments) from the West African culture, notation (both western and "block-style"), and philosophy of polyrhythmic communication.
Intermediate - Advanced curriculum
Consider this course as you would an ethnomusicology course on aesthetics and social action, but with alot more focus on rhythms and applications you can use daily.
